We are registered with the Department of the Environment as Licensed Waste Carriers. Registration helps The D of E to clamp down on fly-tipping by illegal operators who harm human health and the environment whilst also undercutting legitimate businesses.
Details of License
If you are using a contractor to remove Japanese Knotweed waste for you, they must be registered as a waste carrier. Failure to ensure that your contractors have a license, may lead to prosecution of both the contractor and yourselves. Even if your contractor has a license but fails to follow the strict disposal requirements, prosecution can still occur, (see Case Law).
